Philadelphia TV is airing a one-hour special featuring the talent of Hazel Scott. Catch the special on Comcast channels 66/966HD and Verizon 29 & 30 at 7:30pm every Monday for the month of July. Pianist Hazel Scott was a child prodigy of the classics and jazzed them up like no other in the 1940's. She was the first African-American female jazz musician in the 1950's to have her own TV show!
